You may need someone to help you.
Ask someone to hold the back of the cats neck, like the mom cat does. You will probably have to hold the cat VERY firmly.
Save washing the face, for after the actual bath. Then use a damp facecloth for the face and ears.
I use q-tips for cleaning the skin around the toes.
I have given my SPHYNX baths since they were kittens, so they are used to it, now.
